This is a seven night photographic holiday based at the Hotel Salema in the Sao Vicente Natural Park in south west Portugal. The emphasis is on exploring the coastal landscapes of the Costa Vicentina, but there will be ample opportunity for travel photography too. Here is a sample itinerary, subject to change according to local conditions:
Sunday: Arrive Faro, transfer to Salema, evening photography in Salema
Monday: The southern beaches: Figueira, Furnas, Zavial
Tuesday: Cabo de Sao Vicente – the south west tip of Europe
Wednesday: City of Silves, fishermen’s beach at Armacao de Pera
Thursday: Odeceixe and Praia de Amoreira
Friday: Punto de Piedade, Lagos, Praia do Castelejo
Saturday: Praia da Bordeira, Pontal, Praia do Amado
Sunday: Transfer to Faro Airport
